It was wonderful to see all your smiling faces today - and I trust you all had a very blessed Thanksgiving celebration!
We had a BLAST (pun intended!) with Mr. Herson today as he explained Newton's Third Law and showed us how to make and launch some really super coolio rockets! My dynamic duo can not stop talking about them - and were fully expecting to make some upon arriving home!
Thank you again Mr. Herson for another riveting presentation - you are a crowd favorite!

Christmas Program Preparations:
Please have the kiddos practice the Away in a Manger on the Tin Whistle - We decided today that anyone who can't play it reasonably well by next Tuesday will sing the song while those that can will accompany them. Most (not all) of the kiddos didn't want to sing - so please encourage them to practice.
Swords - we still need them each to have a foam sword for the history sentence performance.
Most everyone has one - if you have more than one and can lend one or two, please let me know - we need nine in total. I saw three today. Please confirm with me if you have or need one - thanks!

1st - I made a mistake today - in all the packing going on over here - I apparently packed the part of my brain that dealt with Latin - and we reviewed the same strand as last time - now for the third (funny how no one noticed! And thank you Sue for the heads up!) But I'm putting the proper chart here!

In 1789,
the French Revolution began when citizens stormed the Bastille and fought for
the Declaration of the Rights of Man.
Later, during the Reign of Terror, the aristocrats' heads were removed
by guillotine.

Constance the bull went on
her first trip to EASTERN EUROPE. She went shopping in the great city of CONSTANTINOPLE/ ISTANBUL, before
heading up to the beautiful city of MOSCOW
in the country of RUSSIA (USSR), where
she started to wonder if she really was a cow.
She raced down to the city of KIEV,
and then scaled the mountains on her way to freezing, cold SIBERIA.
