Hi everyone! So grand to see you all after the break!
Science was a moving experience this week as we looked at the concept of how shape effects speed - so much fun!
This week we studied one of my personal favorites, Monet, in our Great Artists series and we spent some time "dab" painting wonderful landscapes in the style of the artist himself...the results truly were fabulous! And once again, they were really engaged in the process.
Presentations are continuing to improve. We are still working on the "figit factor" when we are in front of the group. Everyone continues to keep their sense of humor about it too :-D
Week 17's presentation suggestion: Show and Tell something from your closet.
OK - so on to the new grammar that was presented Tuesday - as ever, if you need a map, worksheet or mp3 - just email me and I'll send it on over.

Green Car Picture
My old greasy car went
zigzagging in the BALKANS. It
started leaking grease in GREECE,
and developed beetle-mania in ALBANIA. It stopped at a parking area in BULGARIA, and then went on to
meet a nice new Yugo in former YUGOSLAVIA. It ended up breaking down while roaming the
roads in ROMANIA.
