Cycle 2 Week 6

What another great session we had yesterday! I know I keep saying that - but I truly mean it!

I think though that my FAVORITE part was presentations - and while not everyone shared jokes with us, and those were really great presentations too, the jokes were my hands-down favorite - just really funny, funny stuff! Its so good to laugh, no?

And on that topic, next week's suggested topic is:"Show-n-Tell Surprise!"
This one is always BIG fun! The kiddos bring something in a paper bag, describe it to their peers and see if anyone can guess what it is.
The skill we will be focusing on is Expression: Make you voice interesting by varying your tone and volume and using pauses to enhance your presentation.

We finished up our art unit today and I really loved the final projects - they really understand how to create depth and perspective in drawings now and how to utilize upside-down drawing, mirror imaging and abstract techniques in their drawings and when rendering. I'll be choosing their best pieces for the Christmas program display and then returning the others too you shortly.

So, on to what we covered yesterday and the resources....
