Here's this weeks resources - ahem...rather late - sorry, tough week, slipped my mind.

Week 17: Tell me about World War II leaders (Timeline Card 141) World War II AXIS leaders were: Hitler of Germany, Tojo of Japan, and Mussolini of Italy.  WWII ALLY leaders were: Churchill of England, Roosevelt, Eisenhower, and MacArthur of the U.S., and Stalin of the USSR.
World War II	ASL “w”, ASL “w”, flash 2 fingers
AXIS leaders	Both R-hands move around each other in a rotating motion. (ASL for rotate)
Hitler of Germany	One fist “hits” other palm.
Tojo of Japan	T-Hand. Index fingers and thumb touch at tips and move away from each other to sign “Japan”
Mussolini of Italy	M-Hand.
World War II	ASL “w”, ASL “w”, flash 2 fingers
ALLY leaders	Hold one hand with index finger pointing up while the other hand, also with the index finger pointing, moves quickly to stand next to each other. (ASL for ally)
Churchill of England	C Hand. Right hand clasps little finger side of left palm-down A-hand and shakes as if shaking hands.
Roosevelt, Eisenhower, & MacArthur of the US	R Hand Point to your eye for Eisenhower M Hand and Salute
Stalin of the USSR	Pointer fingers draw a mustache. “Pound” with a hammer to represent the cross-peen hammer on the flag of USSR.

English:  This week we covered what a verb is  and used an original tune from C3 by Mary K Bryant.

What is a NOUN?

A NOUN names a person, place, thing, activity, or idea.
noun	Flip left hand up
person	Pointer fingers touch your shoulders
place	Pointer fingers point to the floor
thing	1 pointer finger points to several things in the room
activity	Act like you are surfing
idea	1 pointer finger to your head

Week 17: What is Newton's 2nd Law of Motion? Force equals mass times acceleration.
Newton’s 2nd law of motion	Hold 2 fingers up and tap to the beat
Force	2 arms out, like you’re pushing something away (with “force”)
Mass	Sign “m” with your right hand & then “try” hold it up (so heavy)
Times	“X” arms in front of you
acceleration	jog in place; try to get faster as you say the word.

Geography:

Week 17           No Picture—Have kids use their finger

CENTRAL EUROPE: Can you find a super tiny country in Europe with a big name?  It is LUXEMBOURG.  Right next to it you will see BELGIUM.  Above Belgium you will see the NETHERLANDS.  Can you find the big country to the right of the Netherlands? It’s GERMANY.  Below Germany on the left you will find SWITZERLAND.
