History:

Week 22: Tell me about the fall of communism (Timeline Card 157)
In 1989, the communist dictators began to fall in Eastern Europe when Soviet President Gorbachev refused to back them up with military force.
Communist
Right palm-out fist is raised above the line of vision in the communist salute.
Fall…Europe
Left had palm-up, right 2-hand, fingertip “stand” on palm, then the 2-hand falls over. Right-E circles near temple.

Both 5-hands are placed on the waist, hands in repeated movement tapping the waist between the thumb and index finger. G-hand.

Reflection
Hold up right hand, flat and open.  Pretend it is a mirror.  Look into it and smile.
Refraction
Turn your hand (“mirror”) slightly away from your face.
Spectrum
Put your hands together in the shape of a triangle, then move them apart.

Week 22           Use Macaw Picture
There was a macaw from CENTRAL AND SOUTH AMERICA.  She flew over COSTA RICA, and then decided to get a tan in PANAMA.  After some much needed rest, she flew to PERU.
