Journeymen, Cycle 2 Week 20

Week 20: Tell me about the Vietnam War  (Timeline Card 153)
In 1965, President Johnson sent U.S. troops to stop communist North Vietnam from capturing all of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War.
1965
Hold up 9 fingers, followed by 6 & then 5 (on left hand with right hand closed)

US troops
Both A-hands tap on the chest (left) and lower side of the body (right).
(ASL sign for military).
To stop
Right arm extended bent at the wrist with hand palm-out.
North Vietnam
Right palm-out fist is raised above the line of vision in the communist salute.
From capturing all
Two five-hands, palm-down. Open hands drop down while closing.
Of South Vietnam
Right-hand, letter V, salute by right eye, flick wrist twice.
Vietnam War
Right V hand transitions to palm-in curved 5-hands move from side to side.

Week 20: What is the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics? Heat will always flow from an area of higher temperature to an area of lower temperature.

·         Heat.. higher temp.
Put right hand up in the air & move fingers in a wave like motion.  Keep hand vertical.
·         Lower temperature
Move hand down slowly while still moving like a wave.

Week 20           Use Mouse Picture
There was a mouse from LAOS that bought a new tie in THAILAND.  He went camping in CAMBODIA, and then used his new compass to find NORTH VIETNAM and SOUTH VIETNAM.
