Journeymen Cycle 2 Week 12

Hi Everyone!
Wow - so sorry to be sliding in here soooo late in the week - but honestly, I thought I had set this to post before the break - and then with the weather wreaking havoc on our schedules....it got past me!!

It was so very good to see you all this week! How I missed your smiling faces! I trust that you had a very blessed Christmas break and are now ready to get back at it :-)


Next week we start back into more awesome Science Projects with the FABULOUS Mark Herson at the helm - ever thankful for you Mr. Herson!

Presentations this coming week will be: "Tell us about your favorite holiday."

Aaaaand - Week 13 we will also start our study of Great Artists - up first....Rembrandt!

Week 12: Tell me about the Battle of Waterloo. (Timeline Card 113)

Napoleon Bonaparte of the French Empire was defeated at the Battle of Waterloo by British General Wellington soon after the War of 1812 in the United States.

Start with hands together. Pull them apart (representing a long time), then begin to use arms to “fly.”

Week 12           Use Prince Caspian Picture
Prince Caspian set out on a great sea battle in the EASTERN EUROPEAN SEAS. The first battle was in the BARENTS SEA, then off to fight the White Witch in the WHITE SEA. After winning, he traveled down to fight the Black Knight in the BLACK SEA. A quick stop at home in the CASPIAN SEA, then off to shoot arrows in the battle of the ARAL SEA.
